北京，中國（CNN）- 中國的四個省分本週有出現降雨的情形，但政府官員表示：要對抗這場被認為可能是半世紀以來最嚴重的旱災，中國還是要必須更加地謹慎面對。
“這次的乾旱情況相當嚴重，但因為我們採取了及時及有效的努力，我們已經將影響減到最低”，中國水利部副部長鄂竟平(EJingping)在星期二對記者表示，”如果在未來的十五天內沒有出現明顯的降雨情形，中國的小麥生產區將會受到嚴重的影響，同時我們也會面臨到更嚴峻的挑戰”
從去年十一月以來，在中國的北部及中部幾乎沒有降下任何的雨水，有的地區甚至超過一百天都沒有下雨。
政府官員表示；在這次的乾旱中，超過四百三十萬的居民及兩百萬的家畜面臨到飲用水短缺的情形。
這次的乾旱範圍至少涵蓋了十二個省分，其中的小麥生產區包括河南，安徽以及山東。中國媒體報導表示總受災面積已經達到 一千三百七十 百萬公頃（換算相當於 三千三百八十五 百萬英畝）（譯按：CNN的單位換算可能有誤，因為台灣總面積約3.6百萬公頃，中國總面積約932百萬公頃）
在上個週末，中國軍隊在火箭上裝填上人造雨化學藥劑並在受乾旱所苦的地區施放以刺激降雨。
以長遠的規劃，中國計畫將河水由其兩條最長的河流中導入乾旱地區，但是要將水輸送至山區及偏遠農地仍將極具挑戰性，許多的中國農地仍僅仰賴雨水，因為其灌溉系統相當地落後。
根據中國洪水及乾旱救災辦公室表示，部分地區將可能僅降下正常降雨量的百分之二十左右。
BEIJING, China (CNN) -- Rain fell in four provinces thisweek, but China will still have to take serious measures to combat whatsome have called the worst drought in half a century, governmentofficials said.
"Drought isindeed very severe, but thanks to the timely and effective efforts wehave taken, we have minimized the impact," Vice Minister E Jingpingtold reporters Tuesday. "If there is no significant rainfall in thenext 15 days, the wheat-producing regions will be impacted moreseverely and we will face a more daunting task."
Northern andcentral China have had little precipitation since November. Many placeshave not had rainfall for more than 100 days.
In the drought, more than 4.3 million residents face a shortage of drinking water, as do two million livestock, officials said
The drought has hit at least 12 provinces, including thewheat-producing areas in Henan, Anhui and Shandong provinces. Chinesemedia says the total area affected has reached 1,370 million hectares(3,385 million acres).
Over the weekend, Chinese soldiers loadedrockets with cloud-seeding chemicals and fired them into the sky overdrought-stricken areas in the effort to produce rain.
Over the long term, China plans todivert water from its two longest rivers to drought-stricken areas.However, it is still going to be difficult to get water to mountainousareas and remote farmland. Many farms in China rely on rain, becauseirrigation systems are poor.

对不起我不是调侃。我们的确麻烦很大。 今天看电视还看到英国南部发洪水的消息 以年旱一年涝，想办法蓄水吧 那个降龙十巴掌看看吧
要是按你说的不修坝把坝都拆了，水灾旱灾时怎么办？！
那可就真的是只能看老天爷了
