英国路透社驻北京办事处负责人日前对人民网记者表示，路透社发布的关于中国今年5月份的CPI增幅预测数据源于该社所做调查。
本月8日，路透中文网发布消息称“中国5月CPI预计较上年同期上涨5.4%”，数据来源为“最新路透调查显示”。
有媒体日前爆料称，央行和国家统计局有官员因涉嫌提前泄露宏观经济数据，在今年三四月份间被有关部门带走调查。另有媒体指出，仅路透社就曾在近两年中，七次精确“预测”到中国的CPI增幅。媒体将路透社比作南非世界杯期间那只具有神奇预测能力的“章鱼哥”。
记者注意到，路透社在这七次精准预测的报道中，均使用了“消息人士”、“官方消息人士”、“官员”或“一位关键部门的中国政府官员”等语言来显示其数据来源，而这次本月8日的报道以“最新路透调查显示”为数据来源的情况是第一次出现。
人民网记者就此事采访路透社驻北京办事处负责人Don，Don表示已经知晓中国媒体对路透社所谓“章鱼哥”的报道，但不愿对此过多置评。当记者问及该社此次预测报道中数据来源的变化时，Don说：“调查是我们自己做的，是很透明的一个调查。”他并表示，路透社每月都会做这样的调查。
但当记者再追问中国媒体所列举的七次精准预测的数据是否也是依据该社调查所得时，Don则回答：“那大概是采访的。”
据悉，国家统计局将于明天（6月14日）公布5月宏观经济数据。

我倒是觉得可以多多培养一些这类的“消息人士”时不时的放出去一些无关紧要的信息，而一到一些特别时期忽然利用这些“消息人士”弄些假新闻给西方，保证西方立马蒙圈掉Q33) 统计局，财政部，证监会，银监会，央行里面汉奸多的是 对于这类早晚都要公开的东西说出去就说出去了~反正路透社不预先报道，咱们自己也要报~
