Surprised CNN didn' run with this. But I often gets things like this confused, espacially in the Czech out line at the grocery store or when I'm going to Chechnya out a new movie.

06:13 AM on 04/23/2013 Because we spend so little money of public education. We let politicians control what is taught and in what way, and because we let places like Texas dictate what the education books say. doc Permalink | Share it HUFFPOST SUPER USER Majorbob53 390 Fans 07:16 AM on 04/23/2013 I agree with you 100%. I also think that many American's hold that "we" are predominant in all aspects of social, political, economic, educational and theological "truths." All other countries are 2nd rate and therefore there is no need to understand them, or even know where they are located. I saw this 1st hand when I was stationed in several countries. A minority of Americans arrived at the base, and for the duration of their tour, did not venture out into the host country - "the people hate us, the food stinks, there is nothing to see" BTW that was a comment I heard from an American about Germany, circa 1987. Permalink | Share it There are More Comments on this Thread. Prague is one of my favorite cities in the world. Lovely people, gorgeous architecture.
Somebody better tell Sarah Palin that. BIG difference between Islam and radical Islam. Just as there's a big difference between Christianity and evangelical Christianity.
To confuse Chechnya with Czechoslovkia is like confusing Austria with austrailia!!
