In China, bidders must pay a depositbefore attending an auction. However, a deposit was unnecessary outsideChina and auctioneers usually accept reliable bidders, said Gan.
甘先生说，在中国竞拍者在参加拍卖前必须付抵押金。不过在海外抵押金不是必须的，拍卖商通常只接受可靠的买家。
