As the FTSE 100 tumbled nearly 5 per cent, the PM issued a stern rebuke to eurozone leaders, saying their failure to act to prop up the single currency threatened the stability of the world economy. He also accused fellow leaders of lacking the political will to emulate his coalition government's deficit reduction strategy.
