Parts ofEuropean Confucius Institutes Held a Joint Conference in Minsk in 2013

9月11日至13日，2013年欧洲部分孔子学院联席会议在白俄罗斯首都明斯克市举办。　　白俄罗斯政府副总理阿纳托利·托济克，教育部长谢尔盖·马斯克维奇，中国驻白俄罗斯大使宫建伟，孔子学院总部总干事、国家汉办主任许琳等出席开幕式并致辞。

FromSeptember 11th to 13th, 2013, parts of European ConfuciusInstitutes held a joint conference in MinskCity, namely capital of the Republic of Belarus. The personages attended andmade speeches in the opening ceremony include Анатолий, who is the vice-premierof the government of the Republic of Belarus, Сергей, who is the minister ofeducation, Gong Jianwei, who is China's ambassador to the Republic of Belarus, andXv Lin, who is secretary-general of theConfucius Institute Headquarters as well as director of Hanban/ConfuciusInstitute Headquarters.

开幕式上，托济克副总理高度评价了白中两国关系，认为在白俄罗斯举办此次会议表明中国重视对白关系，同时也是对白俄罗斯两所孔子学院教学成果的肯定。

On theopening ceremony, vice-premier Tojik spoke highly of the relationship between the Republic of Belarus and China, thinking that theconference held in the Republic of Belarus by China shows China’ greatattention to the relationship between the Republic of Belarus and China, andalso shows China’s approval on the teaching results of the two ConfuciusInstitutes in the Republic of Belarus and China.

宫建伟大使致辞时表示，随着全球化发展，中国越来越吸引世界的目光。世界需要了解中国，中国也需要了解世界。中国正致力于实现“中国梦”，各国也都有自己的梦想，相信孔子学院将为“中国梦”与世界各国梦想的有机结合和实现作出自己的贡献。

Whenmaking a speech, the ambassador Gong Weijian expressed that, with thedevelopment of globalization, Chinahas attracted more and more attention from the world. The world needs to learnabout China,and vice versa. Chinais now devoting itself to its “Chinese dream”, and every other country has itsown dream, as well. It is convincing that the Confucius Institutes will makecontribution to the organic integration and the realization of the dreams ofvarious countries in the world.

许琳总干事发言时说，孔子学院的宗旨是帮助各国人民学习汉语，了解中华文化，加强中外教育和文化的交流与合作。孔子学院的健康发展需要中外双方同心协力。她感谢欧洲各国孔子学院及所在大学对汉办的支持。

When making a statement, secretary-generalXv Lin said that the Confucius Institutes aim at helping people of variouscountries to learn Chinese and learn about Chinese culture, so as to strengthenthe communication and cooperation between Chinese and foreign education andculture. The sound development of the Confucius Institutes needs the union in aconcerted effort of Chinaand foreign countries. She thanked the Confucius Institutes in the Europe and the universities where the ConfuciusInstitutes are located for their support of Hanban/Confucius InstituteHeadquarters.

　　来自欧洲18个国家72所孔子学院及孔子课堂的近200位代表与会，就如何落实孔子学院发展规划、建设“核心教师”岗位和培养本土师资、落实孔子新汉学计划、打造孔子学院文化品牌项目等议题展开讨论。（据新华社）

Nearly 200 representatives from the 72 ConfuciusInstitutes and Confucius Classrooms of 18 countries attended the conference. Andthey had discussions on issues such as how to put the development planning of theConfucius Institutes into practice, how to establish posts for the “coreteachers”, how to cultivate local teachers, how to put new plans for Confucius’Sinology into practice, how to create programs with culture brands of theConfucius Institutes and so on.
