The son of Hollywood actor Jackie Chanhas been charged with a drug offence, Chinese prosecutors in Beijing say.

中方检察官在北京称，好莱坞影星成龙之子被控告毒品犯罪。

JayceeChan, 32, is accused of sheltering others to use drugs. In August police saidmore than 100 grams of marijuana were found at his home.

房祖名（Jaycee），32岁，被控收留他人吸食毒品。八月，警方在其住所发现超过100克大麻。

Correspondentssay that if convicted, Jaycee Khan could face up to three years in jail.

记者称，一旦被定罪，房祖名将面临3年的牢狱之灾。

In June,Chinese President Xi Jinping called for "forceful measures" to tackleillegal drug use.

JayceeChan and Taiwanese movie star Kai Ko, 23, were both detained at his Beijing home in August,with police saying they tested positive for marijuana. Mr Ko was released aftera 14-day administrative detention for drug use,

ButJaycee Chan was put under "criminal detention" for the additional andmore serious suspected crime of "providing a shelter for others to abusedrugs", Beijingpolice said at the time.

同时警方称，房祖名因更严重的涉嫌罪名--给他人滥用毒品提供场所被额外刑事扣留。

JayceeChan's management firm M'Stones International apologised onhis behalf at thetime for the "social impact" caused and said they would"supervise his rehabilitation and help him return to the right path".
