M4 RELAY is a member of the April Media group, which started as a grassroots network of students who rallied in support of a peaceful torch relay prior to the 2008 Olympic Games. The mass media's attempt to hijack the relay for propaganda purposes went against the spirit of the games, both modern and ancient, which bring people together in friendship regardless of their disputes and differences. We created the Anti-CNN website to expose the fakery and falsehoods that were being broadcast by CNN, Fox and other biased corporate media monopolies.

Since those early days, our team members have moved on to form blog communities and provide timely and accurate international news to Chinese netizens. RELAY is designed to become an information bridge for people around the world who otherwise have few international forums to share news and opinion that cannot get into the mainstream media.

Over the next couple of months, we hope to communicate with new friends who wish to contribute commentaries and provide alternative news from where they live and work. Meanwhile, we'll keep up a stream of news and opinion from our network of supporters in China. So remember to add M4 RELAY to your bookmark list.
