Metal（金属）做为一种音乐类型，有它不同美轮美奂的侧面。
它的光泽并不是只有阴暗血腥和暴虐，它会吹响激昂的战歌，
也会歌颂柔蜜的爱意；它有时狠毒残忍，但有时也会低吟浅涕。
同其他风格一样，金属乐一样可以表达这世界上的每一种美丽。
这个帖子的名字和用意来自德国著名金属厂牌Nuclear Blast（核爆）制作出品的Metal Dreams系列。这个系列前后发行了五张专辑（封面如下），收录了众多大牌金属乐队的经典抒情之作，被称作是“众多前卫金属乐队卸去金属战袍，以极具感性的一面表达金属与柔情的完美结合”——本帖用意也是提供这样的一些歌曲，但选曲范围并不限于这一系列的专辑。“至于铁血柔情这种东西，相信每个人心里都会有一个标准；恐怕喜欢金属的人，每个人心里都会有一份属于自己的metal dreams 名单”——没错，这个帖子就是给出本人的一份metal歌曲名录。

好，就说这么多了，开始听歌吧！
先从Led Zeppelin的两首歌开始吧。Led Zeppelin那个年代还没有分化出metal这一类型，但他们的音乐对metal的诞生和发展有着重大的影响。说实话，《Stairway to Heaven》不算是典型Led Zeppelin风格的作品，也没有太多的炫技，但这首长达八分钟的作品为日后的大长度metal歌曲树立了一个标杆，其歌曲结构和编排等对于后世的作品树立了典范。《the Rain Song》同样不是典型的Led Zeppelin风格，但里面优美的吉他旋律让人难忘。
