澳大利亚 南澳自由党议员Mary Jo Fisher 因 从超市偷窃$92.92的食物 和 殴打阻止她离开的保安 被告上法庭，她不认罪。
December 15, 2010, 保安发现 她把其它食物在购物车里重新调整，使车看起来像空的一样，然后仅付了$7.30的牛奶及其它几件小东西。保安在她把购物车的东西放进汽车准备开车时，抓了她。女保安说她其实不认识女议员。在被带回商场办公室的过程中，她多次强行或借机逃跑。还有多次想私了。
在向警察的供词中，她说发现没带够钱，想先付一部分，再到车上拿钱付其它的，但她承认她没有告诉商场她把整购物车东西拿上汽车要干什么。当晚她拿了钱回商场付了欠下款项。

South Australian Liberal senator Mary Jo Fisher repeatedly asked a supermarket security guard if there was a way to avoid being charged with shoplifting, a court has heard.
The court also heard the security guard and supermarket employees were pressured to drop assault and theft charges, and that CCTV footage of the incident has been erased.
Fisher, 48, has pleaded not guilty in the Adelaide Magistrates Court to stealing $92.92 worth of food from a Foodland store on December 15, 2010, and assaulting a security guard who tried to stop her leaving.
The security guard said she saw the senator steal lychees, bananas, blueberries, strawberries, button mushrooms, avocados, onions, carrots, sweetcorn, blackberries, cherry tomatoes, chickpeas and peppercorns.
The guard approached the senator after she had seen her rearrange her trolley so it looked empty, pay $7.30 for milk and a few other items, put her trolley in her car and get in.
The security guard says she didn't know who the senator was when she took her inside to the supermarket office.
"Fisher said, 'Is there any way out of this?', and I said, 'No'," the guard said.
The senator asked to use the bathroom and tried to leave again, she said.
"She appeared scared," the guard said of Fisher.
"She was saying she couldn't deal with it, she needed fresh air.
"She pushed me out of the way and got into her car ... she tried closing the door several times, it was closing on my arm ... she was a little rough.
"Fisher said, 'Is there no other way to resolve this?' I continued to say, 'No'."
Prosecutor Sergeant Brendon Beh told the court Fisher had told police she realised she didn't have enough money to pay for all the goods so she paid for some and got into her car to get more money.
The senator also told the police she did not let Foodland staff know what she was doing when she went to the car.
Later that night she went back to Foodland and paid for the items.
Fisher's defence lawyer, Michael Abbott, QC, asked the court for a voir dire to argue for the security guard's entire evidence to be excluded because it was "unlawful, illegal and inadmissible".
Magistrate Kym Boxall refused the request.
He also trimmed Sergeant Beh's brief to exclude evidence from people about witnesses seeking to drop charges.
The prosecutor said he was not suggesting, in his opening address, that there was an attempt to pervert the course of justice when he said "representatives of Fisher had approached" witnesses and that led them to want to drop charges.
The trial continues.
Mary Jo Fisher has been a senator since being elected in 2007 following the resignation of Amanda Vanstone.
She made headlines when she danced the Hokey Pokey and The Time Warp in the Senate in March this year to mock the government's policy on climate change. |
