Islamabad, Pakistan (CNN) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani filed an appeal Wednesday against a Supreme Court decision to charge him with contempt, his lawyer said, the latest move in a drawn-out struggle between the country's political leaders and the judiciary.
