Companies are in China are big suppliers of a slew of household items. In a new trend in big cities around the world, huge Chinese residential real estate developers are looking to sell you something new: your apartment, too.

Q. What are some of differences in trends in outbound investment between China’s residential developers and commercial developers?

A. There are differences. The residential developers — like your Greenland, your Vanke, your Country Gardens — are still focused on the big cities of the world such London, Sydney, San Francisco, Toronto, L.A. and New York. I suspect we will see more deals from them in cities in continental Europe — Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt –  in 2014.

Greenland, Vanke, Country Gardens现在都还是集中在大城市的“高档”雅帕文。
