A Chinese woman who became a folk hero after fatally stabbing a Communist Party official to fend off his demands for sex has been freed by a court in a decision that likely avoided a storm of public criticism over the carefully watched case.

Calls to the court and the woman's lawyer rang unanswered. Press photographs showed Deng grasping her mother's hand as they left the courthouse after the trial.

其实,原文用demands for sex也有点别有用心之嫌疑,用demands for sexual services 或 demands for sexual play 或干脆 sexual harassment都比原来说法更确切.

道理是一样的， 政府法律的权威并没有在这个判决后被全部的人们认同。不少人认为这个判决是受压所致，并在推广：以后有啥事不施压（闹）没公正没真相。
这又危险了
这方面也不要过于在意，你知道默多克控制了多少家媒体，，乃至多少个国家的媒体，你就可以理解人家怎么想这个问题

nbnbren 发表于 2009-6-17 14:59 http://bbs.m4.cn/images/common/back.gif恩，国家控制是众所周知的，每个国家都一样，只是操作方法高不高明的问题。我说的是后半句的那个“异乎寻常...”，这句就比较有潜台词了。我们的媒体现状实际情况是，当地媒体不报道当地政府的问题，国家媒体可以报道省级以下的，省媒体可以报道省以下的...依此类推。另外一个就是可以跨省报道，不过不常见，但是有过先例。再有就是当地政府领导有意让当地媒体曝光下级部门的问题，以此敲打和管理下级部门。基本也就这三种情况。寻常时的时弊曝光并不少见，它澳媒来个“异乎寻常...”这个暗示就有点过分了。 中国英雄？？？ 澳酶这么关心我们啊？ 还算客观~~~ 中国发生的事情,开始作为了世界的案例,算是一种进步. 本帖最后由 magicboy 于 2009-6-18 08:49 编辑
