South Korea on Monday posted its sharpest drop in monthly exports since January, dousing optimism about Asia’s fourth-biggest economy recovering from the economic downturn soon.
南韩在星期一公开了自一月以来最厉害的月度出口暴跌数据，给乐观人士关于亚洲第四大经济体将很快从经济萎缩中恢复当头一棒。
Exports plunged 28.3 per cent in May compared with the same month a year earlier, undershooting analysts’ projections. In April, exports fell only 19 per cent. Since a 33 per cent fall in January, export declines had stabilised at about 20 per cent each month.
5月份与上一年同期相比暴跌28.3%，与分析家的预测相差甚远。四月份仅仅下降19%。自从1月份下降33%以来，出口每月下降都保持在20%左右。
