India Braces For Olympic Torch Chaos

Thousandsof police have been sent out across New Delhi after anti-Chinaprotesters promised major disruption on the latest leg of the Olympictorch relay.

Theflame arrived in the Indian capital from Pakistan, where Chineseofficials handed it over to the head of the Indian Olympic Associationwhile dancers and cheerleaders performed.
Some two dozen Tibetanexiles protested along a motorway as the torch made its way into town,chanting anti-China slogans. Several were forcibly detained.
