从1999到2008这将近十年的时间里，PTH从最初深受流行朋克风格的影响到之后将Progressive与新古典主义的高技术化乐器演奏与动力式Metalcore风格不断融合的过程中，已然成为了一支驰骋在Progressive Metalcore领域的最具潜力团体。而更令人惊讶的是，到目前为止，乐队成员的平均年龄才不过22岁。

PTH来自加拿大安大略省多伦多市，最初由主唱Rody Walker、吉他手Tim Millar、吉他手/键盘手Luke Hoskin、鼓手Morgan "Moe" Carlson以及贝斯手Arif Mirabdolbaghi组建而成，很难得的是，PTH一直保持着他们的原始阵容，从未曾有所更换。

音乐风格：暗潮/新古典/仙乐

Dark Sanctuary是一支来自法国优秀的Mediaeval/Neo Classical乐团，组建于1996年。当时只是Arkdae的一个个人组合。在2月份录制了一张仅45分钟的DEMO，名为“Bruises”.而且只发行了500张限量拷贝.在这张DEMO里，Arkdae只是用合成器和吉他创作了一种充满阴暗氛围的音乐. 随后Arkdae准备录制一张新的DEMO,结果只有一首长达20分钟的歌曲, 然后花了一年的时间准备,这时Marquise Ermia帮助Arkdae完成了这首歌曲里的人声部分.这张DEMO最终在97年录制完成,之后以CD的形式于98年由官方正式发行. 名为“Funeral Cry”。而Marquise Ermia也顺理成章地加入Dark Sanctuary,成为正式成员. 此时乐队只有两位成员，负责合成器的Arkdae，和担任主音的Marquise Ermia。
1998年，乐队想增加新的成员来为乐队注入新的音乐灵感和加强自己的实力。此时，合成器Hylgaryss,敲击乐手Sombre Cyr 和提琴手Eliane一同加入了Dark Sanctuary。这为Dark Sanctuary注入了更多元化的音乐元素.随后他们录制了乐队的第一张正式专辑“Royaume Mélancolique” 并且在98年的九月在巴黎附近举行他们的首场演出。
这张专辑貌似是他们的隐退之作。。。
