BEIJING – China says it has "serious reservations" about a United Nations resolution authorizing a no-fly zone over Libya and military action to protect civilians against Moammar Gadhafi's forces.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday that China opposes using military force in international relations.
The ministry says China has consistently stressed respect for Libya's sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity and that the crisis should be resolved through dialogue.
China was among five countries that abstained from Thursday's vote on the U.N. resolution to allow "all necessary measures" to stop Gadhafi. It was approved with the backing of the United States, France and Britain.

1.Of course they have reservations. That way they don't have to participate and put the lives of their pilots and any of their tons of cash on the line. Same with the spineless Ruskies. Will be interesting to see what the Arabs bring to the table. Not much I would guess. They are probably going to be busy writing up their comdemnation of Western interference and Islamophobia.

2.The proper thing would be for Libya to be restored to the motherland, China! As everyone knows, Libya has been a sacred territory of China since ancient times. When the Chinese discovered Africa some 5,000,000 years ago, there were not even any creatures recognizable as modern humans anywhere on the continent. In the 18th century, evil Europeans stole Libya from the Chinese in a vile crime that gravely hurt the feelings of all Chinese people. Once Libya rejoins the motherland, all will be peaceful and right. Later, China can recover Sweden, Mars and other stolen lands that rightfully belong to CHINA!!!

3.What the hell is wrong with people here? What China did was to protect its people in Libya. Nothing wrong with that, ok?
