3月29日，菲律宾派出一艘渔船运载士兵，在南海突破中国海警船的封锁，非法抵达仁爱礁运送补给。因菲方想挑起南海争端，因此这次在渔船上安排了多名外国媒体记者随行。但让菲律宾没想到是，当各国记者搭乘菲方船只抵达仁爱礁时，收到了中国运营商发来的手机短信：“欢迎来到中国！”4月1日菲总统新闻官科罗马证实此事属实。目前，菲律宾运营商全球电信正在调查此事。
