[url=]Great many new opportunities will be brought bythe China-ASEAN Free Trade Area[/url]. The Indonesian business community stronglycommitted to building these ties with our friends in China andASEAN. As our ministers and officials have noted, tradeand investment has already been increasing at a rapid pace over recent years,helped by events such as this one in Nanningand by many bilateral initiatives and visits. Ibelieve our governments have been successful facilitating our partnership at a rate at which business can take up the newopportunities and can broaden the scope of trade and investment for mutualadvantage.

中国东盟自由贸易区将会带来许多新机遇。印度尼西亚工商业界坚定地致力于与我们在中国和东盟的朋友建立纽带关系。正如我们的部长以及官员所指出，近年来，贸易与投资已经迅速增加，这得益于诸多重大活动的举行，比如在南宁举行的中国东盟博览会，亦得益于诸多双边行动的开展以及诸多双边访问的进行。我相信，我们的政府成功地促进了我们之间的合作关系，其速度之快使商业得以把握新机遇，并为互利互惠扩大贸易与投资的范围。

It is [url=]therefore[/url][U2]  very unfortunate that many of our global export markets have beenbadly hit by the financial crisis, and our confidence to expand has been shakenby these [url=]developments[/url] . Many of us in the Asian regionhave escaped the worst of the global crisis. However,in the business sector we remain cautious in global markets. In our region, Ithink that we should view this caution not as protectionist but as the naturalprudence and concern of business. In Indonesia,these developments have not diverted us from our long term commitment to a deepand extensive economic partnership with China and ASEAN but they have alerted us to the challenges of transition in movingtoward that partnership.

Our new government, with the strongsupport of the business sector and Indonesian people, is embarking on a new agenda to strengthen ourcompetitiveness. The government will place a high priorityon infrastructure Development, especially in the regions of Indonesiawhich have so much potential to develop. Our target is to substantially improve the investment climate as wellas lower the cost of doing business. We need investment in infrastructure, inexisting industry to strengthen competitiveness and for the emerging opportunities.

在商业部门以及印度尼西亚人民的有力支持下，我们的政府开始了一项新议程，以增强自身的竞争力。政府将高度重视基础设施的发展，特别是在印尼具有巨大发展潜力的地区。我们的目标是大幅改善投资环境并降低经商成本。我们需要对基础设施以及现有的行业进行投资，以增强竞争力，并提供新机遇。

As we have seenfrom the global crisis and from the challenge of climate change, we must be very responsible in creating these newopportunities. We need to direct our attention to energy efficiency andconservation and to sustainable food production.

从这次全球性危机以及气候变化的挑战中可以看出，我们必须承担起创造这些新机遇的责任。我们需要将注意力集中到能源效率、能源节约，以及食品生产的可持续发展上。
