President Barack Obama said on Thursday the United States is concerned China uses its "sheer size and muscle" to push around smaller countries in the South China Sea. 美国总统奥巴马周四称，美国对中国凭借自身的“绝对规模与力量”威逼南海周边小国表示关切。
His comments come after China defended its construction of artificial islands in the South China Sea, saying it is needed to safeguard its sovereignty in the mineral-rich waters . 中国称，在南海的活动是为了更好地维护国家领土主权。在此之后，奥巴马发表了上述言论。

Also India's Nuclear deterrent is designed to reach China. Can we say, "China then Pakistan"? I knew we could.
Vietnam is now buying Russian subs to counter the Chinese threat. One more note, China invaded India in 1962, Invaded Vietnam in 1979 and seized the Spratly Islands. Vietnam has ask the USA to consider putting a Naval base in their country.
The Chinese government warned that it would use military force against Taiwan unless the island's leaders agreed to join talks on reunification at some future point.
