More than 50 people wereworking in the factory in the city of Wenling, in Zhejiang province, when itcollapsed at around 16:00 local time (08:00 GMT) on Saturday. 当它在当地时间周六下午四点倒塌时，在浙江省温岭市的这家工厂有超过50人在此工作。
CCTV News said 49 people wererescued, 40 of whom were hospitalised.
The China Daily newspaper saida large pool built on the factory's roof was believed to be the cause. 《中国日报》说，在工厂屋顶建造的一个大型的游泳池被认为是建筑倒塌的原因。
The China News website saidseveral hundred firefighters were involved in the rescue. 中国新闻网说数百名消防员参与救援。
In January last year, 14workers died in a fire at the Dadong shoe factory in the same city. It is notknown if the collapse occurred in the same factory. 在去年的1月，14名工人在同一个城市的大东鞋厂死亡。目前还不知道在该城市还有没有其他的倒塌现象出现。
