(CNN)At the beginning ofFebruary, construction workers gathered at a sparse building site in the cityof Changsha, south-central China.

A little under three weekslater, a 57-story skyscraper stood on the very same the spot.

不到三周后，一个57层高的摩天大楼在同一个地点建起。

The "Mini Sky City"tower is the work of Broad Sustainable Building, a Chinese firm thatspecializes in prefabricated construction.

“迷你天空城市”塔是远大集团的作品，该公司是一家专门从事预制装配式结构的中国公司。

By preparing more than 2,700modules in a factory for four months before site work began, BSB says it wasable to assemble the structure at the rate of three stories per day -- like agiant vertical jigsaw pieced together from a minutely detailed set ofinstructions.

在工程开始前，在一个工厂里准备了四个月的超过2700个模块，BSB说它可以以每天三层楼的速度组装结构——就象一个巨大的垂直拼图拼凑的详细指令。

A timelapse video ofconstruction went viral on Chinese websites before finding its way onto manywestern news sites and broadcast media at the beginning of May.

To put the pace of BSB'sconstruction into context, it took almost five years to build London's 37-storyWalkie Talkie building which opened in August 2014.

Although some may point out thatthe Changsha tower is less architecturally distinct than the likes of the 20Fenchurch Street (the official name of the Walkie Talkie), the Chineseskyscraper remains a considerable structure with more than 800 apartments andoffice space for 4,000 workers.

虽然有些人指出长沙的大手相比起20 Fenchurch Street（对讲机大厦的正式名字）没有那么多建筑的独特性，但是这幢中国的摩天大厦拥有者庞大的结构，有800套公寓以及可以容纳4000人的写字楼。

The first 20 floors of Mini SkyCity were already completed at the end of 2014 before construction was delayed,BSB's senior vice president Juliet Jiang told CNN by email.

迷你天空城市的前20层已经在建筑被叫停前与2014年底完成了，BSB的高级副总裁朱丽叶·江通过电子邮件告诉CNN.

The remaining 37 stories werethen assembled between January 31 and February 1.
