CNNfan, sorry your CNN = Cropped News Network CNNfan, You have a point, many images online are cropped. However, this is a different case. As we all know there is a saying that a picture says more than a thousand words. What CNN is doing here is cropping the real news, but presenting you only the partical truth, or a distorted view. The internet has eloved so much that there are many ways to present the whole picture. The CNN cropped photo is not high-res, and for web presentation there is no need for high-res, CNN's editor or graphic artists can easily use Photoshop to reduce the resolution and fit the whole picture within any web page. If they can not do so, they are in the wrong business. The question is then, why only crop out the stone-throwers? Why didn't they crop out the truck? They can easily uas caption to say that they are throwing stones to a Chinese military truck. Then the picture might tell more than just a truck! At lea**how some respect to people's intellegence, CNN's explaination or exccuse to crop the image is just too lame if not stupid. We respect your fanfair to CNN, but from this incident can you still trust CNN as your news source that can present you a whole picture that you can make your own judgement? What is the difference between CNN and the Chinese media that CNN blames for being controlled by the government? Does CNN have any moral authority on being unbiased media? I think CNN has lost it Chinese viewers, and potential viewers. Who is controlling CNN now?
