这是藏独组织给我发的一封邮件(潜入敌人内部)
At every Olympics, there is one athlete who ends up inspiring the world with their courage and character. At the Beijing Games, we believe this athlete may be the one who is an example not only of determination and athletic skill, but also of standing up for what is right by speaking out for human rights and freedom in Tibet.
We are searching for that athlete!
We are very pleased to announce the launch of the Athlete Wanted campaign, an initiative of Students for a Free Tibet (SFT), along with the members of the International Tibet Support Network (ITSN).
Athlete Wanted is simple: Tibetans and their supporters are appealing to Olympic athletes from every participating nation to stand in solidarity with Tibetans during the Beijing Olympics.
Efforts are already underway, but to launch this campaign in a way that captures global attention, SFT is actively raising funds to publish our Athlete Wanted ad in the New York Times and other high-profile media publications. [click on the ad for a larger image]
Please donate to help us publish our Athlete Wanted ad now.
As part of this effort, Tibetans and their supporters will be in Eugene, Oregon this weekend for the U.S. Olympic Team Track & Field Trials. We will be conducting outreach, raising awareness about the situation inside Tibet, and looking for athletes who will help us make history for Tibet during the Beijing Games.
Since the Tibetan uprising began in March, many athletes have been among the people worldwide who have expressed their support for Tibet and concern about China's crackdown. Help us find athletes who will speak up in Beijing by contributing to the Athlete Wanted campaign and helping us publish our ad – please donate now!
Please visit the new Olympics campaign website www.FreeTibet2008.org to learn more about the Athlete Wanted campaign.
Here are some of the ways you can help:
- Donate or raise money to help us place the Athlete Wanted advertisement in the New York Times and other high-profile international publications
- Place the Athlete Wanted advertisement in your local newspaper or magazine
- Reach out directly to Olympic hopefuls at your school or in your community
- Hand out postcards, fliers, and other information at Olympic trials and training venues
For more information on placing the ad, getting materials, and how you can get involved in the Athlete Wanted campaign, visit the Athlete Wanted page or contact: athletewanted@studentsforafreetibet.org.
When people look back on the 1968 Mexico City Olympics, they remember Tommie Smith and John Carlos' proud and powerful nonviolent protest for racial justice. We are working to ensure that people look back at the 2008 Beijing Olympics as a turning point for Tibet, and we're looking for the athletes who can help.
Can you help?
