On behalf of the website, Anti-CNN.com*, we are writing this email in light of your false explanation of the picture titled as 'tibet turmoil'. The footage from CCTV clearly showed that the young boy in the picture was being rescued by the paramilitary soldiers after being brutally attacked by those Tibetan rioters and he was sent to a local hospital thereafter. The young boy, LUO Jie, from Sichuan province, went to Tibet with his parents in 2004. His family have been attacked and their family business, a newspaper booth on Beijing Rd in Lhasa, has been totally destroyed by the rioters in March 2008. He told a local journalist that he was shocked when he found his picture has been used as a weapon to attack his rescuers.
His story is widely known in China and it would not be that difficult for you to find out what was really happening. MSNBC, predictably, did not conduct the most fundamental investigation before adding your imaginary explanation along with the picture.
Your explanation deliberately disguised the truth from the general public in the US, which I believe is not a media with basic integrity would do. we, as ordinary Chinese, urge you to stop sending misleading signals to the general public and take further responsible actions to make things right.
Chinese people would show great respect to anyone who have the courage to face their wrongdoings.
