WELLINGTON, New Zealand—A New Zealand lawmaker said the Chinese vice president's security staff pushed him, hit him with an umbrella and took his Tibetan flag during a protest Friday.

W Green Party co-leader Russel Norman says the clash occurred on the steps of Parliament as Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping arrived for a meeting with officials.

Mr. Norman said he was surrounded by Mr. Xi's guards as he waved a Tibetan flag and called for democracy in the Himalayan territory, which China invaded in the 1950s.

A slight scuffle ensued, all this outside Parliament in Wellington while most of New Zealand was welcoming an important Chinese delegation with all honour and respect.

如果换成是奥巴马的安保人员，他们会有什么反应呢？大概会感到荣幸吧？说不定新西兰的总统还会亲自出面去向美国总统致歉，然后新西兰的媒体也会一边倒的去谴责他们的议员太过无视外交礼仪，以及愚蠢的采取有可能会引致“恐怖主义”袭击联想的鲁莽举动。

但是，遭到骚扰的不是美国总统，而是中国的领导人，所以这一行为就立刻从违反外交基本礼仪变性为了MINZHU斗士在为XZ争取独立时遭受无礼镇压的典型了。
