　　85% of Indians are languishing in an informal economy to earn $2 a day so that they can feed a meal for their family.
　　Hence their lives oscillate between DESPERATION and FRUSTRATION.
　　They will succumb easily to BRIBES and vote for any CANDIDATE for 100 rupees in ELECTIONS.

　　I fully agree with you. I have been saying this since many years. If handguns were freely available to every Indian citizen, people would have behaved more responsibly (fear of being shot dead certainly plays a role). Corruption would have reduced to a bare minimum. Even the police and government officials would have thought twice before torturing or harassing innocents. I can say this from personal experience as I have been at the receiving end of harassment by our housing society members who filed false Police complaints against me because my family refused to surrender our ownership flat for redevelopment. They would not have dared to do so if the Police were not corrupt.- Nitin Basrur, Pune.

根本原因在于资源。目前的情况是中国想成为发达国家，世界资源根本不够用，估计需要3个以上地球给中国供给能源和其他资源。但是其他国家也需要发展啊，所以都顶上了这个13亿人口的大国，如果这13亿人突然消失岂不快哉。。好吧，就算不消失，把每个人日均生活费压到一定程度下。。我们就能活下去了，对吧。

　　in the long run when china gains monopoly in manufacturing it will dictate the standard and price of the products - and other countries will have no choice but to agree. and even in case of war, a country with poor manufacturing capability will eventually lose out.

　　the garlic you export to all countries have pungency, but no flavour. indian garlic has flavour and not so pungent... just an example...

　　Coming to your comment about Indian iron-ore, why don't you import it from any one else if you don't like it? India is only one of the countries to ban chink toys due to lead. Chink goods are popular in the world for their inferior quality. Not the goods from India.

Now you cant even buy a decent peeler any where because shops are flooded with your trash. Slowly this is coming to an end. beware of countries like US and India strengthening their own manufacturing.

　　Chinese Navy is no match for Indian Navy.It has absolutely no war experience,does not engage in Naval war games with any country and is by far considered the weakest link in China's armed forces.
　　However,over the years China has realised that the other way to control Indian influence in the Persian Gulf and Indian Ocean is to expand it's naval control.We have more modern warships with us and China has or can hope to have over the next 5 years.
　　Obviously,Chinese media would go gaga over such false reports.China is good at faking anything and everything and this is no surprise.
　　Chinese should check with the Americans on how good Indians are in airforce and navy before writing such trash.

　　China is a real threat to India. In ifrastructure they are far ahead of us. Pakistan is their stooge. Now due folly of our leaders Nepal is also on the lap of the Dragon. When our democracy is taking the country to its nadir (casteist, communalist, familist,racist, terorists forces all combined togther thanks to this democracy) India has ruined Nepal also by promoting democracy at the cost of its royal family and see how Prachand is singging the chinese songs. The time is not far when maoists will create a LTTE like problem in Bihar and eastern UP.

　　Nemo you are 100% right..Chinese had bought the technology and design for an aircraft carrier from Russia long way back but was not able to build one..After that they bought a damaged Aircraft carrier from russia but was unableto modify it and reuse it,whereas we now have 2 aircraft carriers one in service and other is going to be modified(Viraat & Vikrant).NDA govt had signed a deal with russia for buying Admiral Gorchkov a gigantic aircraft carrier and Navy is now building another 37500 ton Indigenous aircraft carrier.We have now three stealth frigates in services and more than four is under construction..We have several diesel electric submarines in service and we have a Nuclear submarine which we have taken on lease from russia.In 2014 India will be having not less than 3 aircraft carriers,7 stealth frigates and 3 nuclear submarines .Now total number of war ships that India have is 190 and this is going to increase by 2014.Number of warships that china has is more but ours is technologically superior to that of China

　　I know many ppl will say 'bullshit' but looking at infrastructure, modernization of Chinese army, navy, air force they can again defeat us in war(we haven't learn much from last defeat to them). Just compare no of fighter planes, naval vessels, range of missiles, sophistication of their weapons we are hardly any match. They are even threating US in pacific ocean; and mind it russia will always support this communist nation than any one else if theres a third world war tomorrow. US is supporting us only to keep an anti china ally and may be sale of some ammunition to us.
　　
　　De fence should be autonomous not under some politician or defense minister; too much bureaucracy and protocols have really messed out things for so many decades now. Only some politicians can say We are a Superpower; fact still remains we are miles away from even getting called as developed nation.

　　　　Tejas has now almost developed and integrated the all avionics and computers along with the AESA / MMR Radar.

　　I hope it is not the case "Late Coming Aircraft" after all it took Indians 17 years to make and test the Kaveri Engine which is the base of this aircraft. After all govt organisation are govt. This aircraft is only 30 % indian ...rest 70 % is foreign.
