Where were Mr Shaikh's concerned family when he was offered this singing job? If he is so phsycologically unstable why did they let him go to China by himself. Who took him to the airport in London...where were his family?
当沙伊克先生得到这份工作的时候他的家人又在哪？如果他心理上如此不稳定，为什么他的家人又让他独自坐飞机到中国去？谁带他去伦敦的机场的……他的家人在哪呢？

he seems to be able to fly around the world on his own to look for work, and run a taxi firm while he was in the UK ..now claims he did not know there were drugs or know what he was doing ...What a load of crap ..
I think he knew what he was doing all the time ..if he was ill why leave your family to look for work in CHINA OF ALL PLACES ..Mr Fry who also suffers from the same disorder seems to know what he is doing and what is going on around him ..so why doesn"t this man ..he went to make a quick buck and got caught ..leave the Chinese to give him justice deserved by all drug smugglers.
他似乎能够独自坐飞机绕全世界找工作，在英国的时候他还开了家出租车公司……现在又声称不知道有毒品，不知道自己做了什么……净是胡说八道……
我认为他至始至终都知道自己在干些什么……如果他真的有病，干吗离开自己的家人跑去中国找工作……同样患有这种病的弗莱先生看起来是知道自己在做些什么，也知道自己周围在发生什么事情的……所以，为什么这个人会不知道呢……他是去挣快钱的，被捉住了……让中国人给予他所有毒品运送者应得的制裁吧

Why do things have to be renamed ?
为什么总要给事物重新取名呢？
Is ther clinically anything differnet between what was called depression and this "new" ailment ?
这种“新”疾病和被称作抑郁症的有什么不同吗？
Or is that something you only get when you lose your Iceland advertising contract ?
又或许只有当你失去冰岛的广告合约的时候才会得这种病？

If Mr Fry was really so concerned about Mr Shaikh, then why not do us all a favour and offer to swap places with him on the firing line? That would show them wouldn't it? Cue tolling bell & tumbleweed.

If you break the law, you must be responsible for your actions. If his family claim that they knew of his illness for several years, why did they allow him to go to china on his own? Where did the drugs come from? How did he get through security in the UK? (this shows just how good the UK system is). This report mearly states that he ''would not knowingly carry drugs''. The fact is he was carrying drugs, I personally cannot see how that amount of heroin could have 'accidently' got into his suitcase without his knowledge. His family have failed to protect him, it is NOT the chinese fault that a mentally ill person was permited by the British to travel to their country and brake their laws. The chinese give fair trails but are tough on people who challenge the security of their country. The west needs to stop playing the humanitarian card, (which seriously compromises their security) and results in criminals and terrorists walking their streets, and getting away with breaking their laws

If he suffers from this disorder how could his family and allowed him to jet off to China?
People need to learn to take responsibility for their own actions and pay the penalty.
Everyone knows China's laws are harsh. If you go to another country respect the laws and abide by them.
I don't remember Stephen Fry being duped by drug traffickers to deliver for them so it seems maybe bipolar disorder is not the factor here. Stupidity maybe, bipolar disorder, no!
Yes I know UK is different, that is why the UK is the laughing stock of the world.

人都需要学会为其行为负责并接受惩罚。
每个人都知道中国的法律是严苛的。如果你到另一个国家去，就要遵守（当地的）法律。
我不记得史蒂文.弗莱有被毒贩子骗去运货，所以看来双重性情障碍不是主要因素。或许是出于愚蠢，但不是出于双重性情障碍！
对，我知道英国不同；英国为什么成为全世界的笑料，原因也在于此。

I think the world would be a far better place, if we had more people like Stephen living in it. The man is a true gemstone.
I wonder if he may consider becoming an M.P. ?
With ethics like his, I'd vote for him.
