感谢提供信息,以下是瑞典青年红十字会的基本原则(Fundamental Principles):
The Swedish Red Cross Youth is a member of theInternational Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and exists to preventand alleviate human suffering. We are committed to, and bound by, thefollowing Fundamental Principles:
Humanity
TheInternational Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, born of a desire tobring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on thebattlefield, endeavours, in its international and national capacity, toprevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Itpromotes mutual understanding, friendship, co-operation and lastingpeace amongst all peoples.
Impartiality
The movement, doesnot discriminate any nationality, race, religious belief, class orpolitical opinion. It endeavours to relieve the suffering ofindividuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priorityto the most urgent cases of distress.
Neutrality
Inorder to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Movement may nottake sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies ofpolitical, racial, religious or ideological nature.
Independence
TheMovement is independent. The National Societies, whilst auxiliaries inthe humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the lawsof their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy sothat they may be able at all times to act in accordance with theprinciples of the Movement.
Voluntary Service
It is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain.
Unity
Therecan only be one Red Cross or Red Crescent Society in any one country.It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian workthroughout its territory.
Universality
The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, in which all Societies have equal status and share
equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other, is worldwide.
Get involved!
